About Molly

Molly Holleran discovered her love of singing in her high school choir with director Roger Tweiten in River Falls, Wisconsin. She received bachelor's degrees in vocal performance and theatre from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. Her master's degree in vocal performance is from the University of Arizona. Her former voice teachers include Tamara Fudge, Joanne Bozeman, Catherine Caccavallo, Grayson Hirst, Korby Myrick, and Kari Ragan, and she currently studies with Reginald Unterseher. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and the Music Teachers National Association.
Since moving to the Tri-Cities in 2008, Molly has been active as a performer with Mid-Columbia Musical Theatre (favorite roles include Marian in The Music Man, Maria in The Sound of Music, and Cinderella in Into the Woods), CBC Summer Showcase (favorite roles include Betty in White Christmas, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense), Richland Players, Mid-Columbia Mastersingers, and as a soloist with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, Washington Idaho Symphony, Oregon East Symphony and Walla Walla Symphony.
In addition to performing and teaching, Molly loves yoga, dancing, reading, walking along the beautiful Columbia River near her home, doing crossword puzzles, and traveling. She lives in Richland with her partner Justin Raffa and their long-haired dachshund Coda.
